Lately, ZEHO ECO won the bid for the ecological construction planning project of Jiangmen City’s Yinhu Bay New Coastal Area. After this project gets implemented, it will connect regional ecological resources, create a “Yinhu Bay ecological green core” and help Jiangmen realize its positioning of marine economic development, achieving its strategic goal of building a livable coastal city that is attractive to businesses and tourists.

The 13th Five-Year Plan suggested that spaces for the blue economy should be expanded and developed and that the ecological protection and restoration of coastal zones should be strengthened. Of all projects derived from the Five-Year Plan, building blue bays is a major marine project, and the protection and restoration of mangroves is a key object of support in the remediation of blue bays. Regarding the national guidance of ecological orientation, Guangdong Province proposed to comprehensively strengthen shoreline protection and build a charming economic coastal zone. Facing the current of marine economic development, the overall development positioning of Jiangmen in the 13th Five-Year Plan is summarized: the integration of production, ecology, and life to create a coastal city that is livable, industrial and touristic. From the regional structure level, the Yinhu Bay New Coastal Area is Jiangmen’s strategic fulcrum to connect with the marine economic belt and the city’s gateway to the ocean.
