This move aims to strengthen the core competitiveness of the waterfront business, accelerate the layout of urban waterfront space operations, and promote the upgrading of domestic waterfront space quality and the transformation of diverse values.
Mr. Stephen Fairhurst, a planning and landscape designer from the UK and Finland, has worked for renowned international design firms such as Scott Wilson and AECOM. During his tenure, he participated in and led several well-known domestic landscape projects, including the Liangma River International Style Waterfront and the Tianjin Haihe River Banks Landscape. Mr. Fairhurst has been commissioned as a designer in 38 countries across four continents, with notable projects in London, Helsinki, Dubai, Bahrain, Taipei, Kaohsiung, Seoul, Hong Kong, and Shanghai. Since 2018, with the collaboration on the Quanzhou Luoyang River project, Mr. Fairhurst and ZEHO ECO have jointly completed several large waterfront space projects, including the Xuzhou Fengpei Canal, Huai'an Wuyuan, and Cangzhou Grand Canal. His international design concepts, over forty years of professional experience, and profound industry knowledge will significantly contribute to the integrated industrial chain construction of ZEHO ECO's waterfront business.
Mr. Fairhurst and ZEHO ECO completed the Xuzhou Fengpei Canal project together.
